King Henry IV

He was born at Bolingbroke Castle on 4 April 1366. The Parliament deposed King Richard II on 29 September 1399, and Henry of Bolingbroke became King Henry IV after having led an adventurous life already. He died in Westminster Abbey on 20 March 1413, but, according to his wish, was buried at Canterbury Cathedral near the shrine of St. Thomas à Becket.
